- Are you covered by insurance?
- Reflexology is not covered at this time in the state of Washington.
- Is there a difference between reflexology and foot massage from “foot spas.”
- Yes.
- Even though both are touch therapies for feet and lower legs, reflexology provides numerous additional benefits to health beyond simple relaxation.
- What will my first appointment be like?
- I will have you tell me about your foot problems, their history, and the treatments you’ve tried.
- I will measure your feet and do a stride analysis.
- I will look at your footwear and give you feedback about it.
- And then I will have you lay on the massage table for a treatment session.
- What is the treatment like?
- You will lay on a massage table with your clothes on (pillow and blankets provided if you’d like).
- I will work on your feet, ankles, and lower legs with my hands, using castor oil and various herbal remedies.
- Are my shoes creating my foot problem?
- They could be. Please bring in all your frequently used footwear to your first appointment.
- What shoes would you recommend?
- We will discuss in person.
