  1. Are you covered by insurance?
    1. Reflexology is not covered at this time in the state of Washington.
  2. Is there a difference between reflexology and foot massage from “foot spas.”
    1. Yes.
    2. Even though both are touch therapies for feet and lower legs, reflexology provides numerous additional benefits to health beyond simple relaxation.
  3. What will my first appointment be like?
    1. I will have you tell me about your foot problems, their history, and the treatments you’ve tried.
    2. I will measure your feet and do a stride analysis.
    3. I will look at your footwear and give you feedback about it.
    4. And then I will have you lay on the massage table for a treatment session.
  4. What is the treatment like?
    1. You will lay on a massage table with your clothes on (pillow and blankets provided if you’d like).
    2. I will work on your feet, ankles, and lower legs with my hands, using castor oil and various herbal remedies.
  5. Are my shoes creating my foot problem?
    1. They could be. Please bring in all your frequently used footwear to your first appointment.

    1. We will discuss in person.
